A new hockey season is underway, and it’s shaping up to be another busy one for the Bulldogs!

This year, more than 850 players are registered with Burnaby Minor Hockey, and we expect to ice 44 teams across our divisions - an increase from last season and a great sign of the continued strength of our hockey community.

As we start the season with evaluations, balancing and roster decisions underway across the association, we know this can be a busy time for players and families, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as our coaches, Division Managers, evaluators and volunteers work to get teams finalized and the season fully underway.

Over the coming weeks, schedules will settle in, teams will come together and league play will begin. We’re looking forward to another season of development, teamwork, friendships and plenty of great hockey.

Thank you to the many volunteers already putting in countless hours to get the season started - and to all of our returning and new Bulldogs families, welcome to the 2026/27 season!

Let’s have a great year. Go Bulldogs!

MEET YOUR BMHA DIVISION MANAGERS

We’re pleased to introduce the Division Managers supporting our players, families and teams for 2026/27.

Division Managers play an important role in starting up the season and keeping each division running smoothly. They work closely with coaches and team managers, help share information and updates, answer questions, and serve as a key connection between teams and the BMHA Executive.

A big thank-you to this year’s Division Managers for taking on these important volunteer roles and for the time and effort they put in behind the scenes to support our teams and families.

C HOCKEY UPDATE

BMHA would like to thank Lindsay Marchioro, who has stepped down from her role as Director of C Hockey, for her time and contributions to the association.

In the interim, Chris Quan, VP Programs, and Milan Ringler, Director of Growth, will be overseeing the C program and supporting our Division Managers, coaches and teams while the Director of C position remains vacant.

We appreciate Lindsay’s contributions to BMHA and thank Chris and Milan for stepping in to support our C program during this transition.
