MEET YOUR 2026/27 BMHA EXECUTIVE
Behind every successful hockey season is a dedicated team of volunteers working behind the scenes to support our players, families, coaches, officials, and volunteers.
Following our 2026 Annual General Meeting, we're pleased to introduce the Burnaby Minor Hockey Association Executive for the 2026/27 season. Together, these volunteers provide the governance and strategic direction that keeps BMHA financially responsible, well-managed, and positioned for long-term success.
We extend our sincere thanks to each member of the Executive for generously volunteering their time, experience, and leadership. Their commitment helps ensure BMHA continues to provide a positive hockey experience for more than 750 players and their families.

MEMBERSHIP SURVEY - THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our 2026 BMHA Member Survey! We heard from 169 families across our House and Rep programs, spanning every age division - from first-year families to long-time BMHA veterans. This kind of input helps us understand what's working well and where we can keep improving.
The results tell a great story about our association. Three-quarters of respondents said they were satisfied with their experience this season, and just as many agreed that BMHA delivers a positive hockey experience for players and families alike. Looking ahead, one message came through loud and clear: player development is the priority. A full 81% of respondents identified it as the area they'd most like us to focus on going forward.

KNOW A FUTURE BULLDOG? HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
Our Junior Bulldogs Program is the perfect introduction to the game for boys and girls born in 2022 who are able to walk on the ice or have completed Gliders 1. Through fun, engaging sessions, young players build confidence while learning the basics of skating and hockey in a positive, supportive environment.
Many of our current players began their hockey journey in Junior Bulldogs, and we'd love your help introducing the next generation of Bulldogs to the sport.
If you have friends, neighbours, or family members with a future hockey player at home, please share this program with them. Word of mouth is one of the best ways to grow our hockey community!

HELP US CELEBRATE OUR CHAMPIONS
As we prepare for the upcoming season, BMHA is coordinating the installation of our PCAHA championship banners at Kensington Arena.
Over the past several weeks, we've received a number of championship banners from teams, along with some banners that were recently provided directly by PCAHA following production delays.
To help ensure that every eligible championship is recognized this season, we're asking all Team Managers and Coaches to check whether they have a 2025-26 PCAHA Regular Season Champion or PCAHA Playoff Champion banner in their possession.
If your team has a banner, please email exec-director@burnabyminor.com as soon as possible so we can coordinate its return and submit it to the City of Burnaby for installation during the upcoming season.

CELEBRATING THE 2025-26 BMHA PLAYER/TEAM AWARDS & GRADUATING U18 RING RECIPIENTS
Last month, Burnaby Minor Hockey celebrated another memorable season at our BMHA Player & Team Awards & Graduating U18 Rings Ceremony, recognizing outstanding players, teams, officials, and our graduating U18 athletes.
The evening honoured excellence in performance, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and dedication throughout the 2025–2026 season, while also celebrating the graduating players who have proudly represented the Bulldogs over the years.
Congratulations to all of this year's award recipients and graduates! Thank you for your dedication to Burnaby Minor Hockey, and to everyone who helped make this year's celebration such a memorable evening.

- U11–U18 Goalie Camps (U11 goalies can now register for the U13 sessions)
